Window seat, Crosswords, Coffee, Novel, journal ...what a wonderful journey!

There was a poem named "From A Railway Carriage" by Louis Stevenson , i read it when I was in my junior high. Back then ,i didn't get to travel a lot. I did not understand what it meant to have a good railway journey. Then there was a short story i read in my high school. "The Eyes Have It" was its name. What a wonderful story it was. I have grown a fond of Ruskin Bond's writing with that short story.
Few weeks ago , i took a trip to Shantiniketan. Now, this place has been very close to my heart. Shantiniketan  has seen growing and tearing apart of friendships. But She remains the same old "Shanti r sthan" . Apart from being a Tagore lover, i feel a genuine attachment to this place. Aesthetic , Romantic, Peaceful ...Your words may fall short . Sitting by a window,  solving crosswords or writing something....It was a wonderful  journey. NOW ,I realise why Stevenson could get an idea of writing a poem on " Railway Journey" .
